My favorite guitar website

Check out www.premierguitar.com. It is hands down the best guitar website out there. The reviews are fair and unbiased. The "Rig Rundown" feature is amazing. It is really cool to check out what pros really use as opposed to the gear they are just paid to endorse. The site also has a ton of cool contests. I have yet to win any but maybe one day... Anyway check out http://www.premierguitar.com/ and look around.

Romanza, Easy Guitar Arrangment

Here is an easy arrangement of the classical guitar standard,"Romanza." Many of my beginning students enjoy playing this song. It is great for confidence to play something that sounds advanced but is easy to approach for beginners. Remember the song is in 3/4 and is grouped into three bar "mini progressions." This arrangement is to be played with the pick. The picking pattern is up, up, down throughout the entire piece. The only part they might be an issue for some players is the middle section that requires barring the 5 fret. However the open string sections should be rather easy to pick up.
